North Jersey Group 1 high schools are playing today for the right to call their team “state champion”. In addition, a separate tournament for individuals is also in progress. The winners of these two tournaments will go on to compete in the Tournament of Champions. Bowling Green is the home course during regular season play for two local schools, Jefferson & West Milford. Both are playing elsewhere today; Jefferson being a Group 2 school and West Milford a Group 3. Jefferson is enjoying a record season with only 1 loss and recently won the Morris County Tournament, knocking out defending champs Delbarton. The top four players contributing results have been Joe Moretti, Ryan Snouffer, Dan Olive & Vinny Cannarozzi.
